Orlando man killed by FBI had confessed to role in Mass. triple murder, authorities say:

An FBI agent killed a man overnight who had ties to one of the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings. +Watch: Interview with man’s friend

This makes me so upset on so many different levels.

What were MA troopers doing questioning someone in FL? Is that a thing that can happen? Why didn’t they bring in FL state troopers?
This guy confessed to murders that happened in MA. I can’t help but wonder if he was pressured to do so. An investigation into what exactly happened hasn’t been completed yet, but even so, Todashev can’t give his side. And I have a nasty feeling the FBI might gloss over any ‘irregularity’ in their interrogation methods. Authorities were already looking into whether Tamerlan Tsarnaev was involved in that case. If they can’t nail this other guy for involvement in the bombings, maybe they figured they could at least arrest him for those murders.
Yes, he came at the FBI agent with a knife. Aren’t these people trained how to shoot not-fatally, though? I can understand the agent’s panic, but Jesus, aim for his leg or something. This feels kinda like excessive force.
Here’s the affidavit from that parking lot-related arrest everyone keeps bringing up. There are conflicting stories of who started the whole mess.

I’m just so sad that after they did such a bang-up job getting to the bottom of things up in Boston that the authorities would straight up kill this guy when they don’t even have reason to believe he was involved, other than the fact that he knew Tamerlan Tsarnaev when he lived in Watertown, MA. Because heaven forbid people belong to the same tight-knit immigrant community. I don’t like this at all.
